This project located high on a hilltop of the Issaquah highlands with sweeping westerly views of Issaquah,  Bellevue , Seattle lakes and mountains beyond. The property required grading off much of the hard-pan soil and replacing it with high quality soil, large granite boulders were brought in to retain the garden areas. Irrigation was installed throughout the garden including low voltage lighting along pathways and to highlight specimen trees. The plant material was selected to achieve color , texture and height keeping the views and the deer who roam the area in mind! Paver patio and flagstone pathways give the garden easy access. Two large sandstone urns grace the entrance to the home and include custom hand blown glass work that has the added bonus of being lite up at night. The entire project boasts 17 planting containers. Three of these containers on the back deck have custom hand blown glass added to them to catch the light and provide drama to the space. All are fully irrigated and color coordinated to the owners outdoor and indoor living space. We love it when the client says I feel like I am living in a resort we know we have done our job well.
